Dr. Kellie Flood-Shaffer is a native of El Paso, Texas. She has spent the majority of her medical career in Academic Medicine. She received her BA from the University of Notre Dame in Anthropology. She matriculated to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) and received her MD in 1987. Her residency training was completed at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1991.  Since graduating, she has served as a faculty member at TTUHSC, El Paso (1991-1997), University of Chicago (1997-2001), TTUHSC, Lubbock (2001-2008) and University of Cincinnati (2008-2015).  She joined the faculty as Vice Chairman and Director of Quality and Safety for University of North Texas Health Science Center in August 2015 and has recently been named Chairman for the Department of OB/Gyn of the Acclaim Physicians Group. While at TTUSHC she served as Residency Program Director both in El Paso and Lubbock and she served as Interim Chairman in Lubbock as well. She was the Division Director for General OB/Gyn as well as Program Director at the University of Cincinnati.  She has served on countless hospital and medical school committees as well as serving on numerous boards at the local, regional, state and national levels.  She has been honored many times as a Top Doctor both in Texas and in Cincinnati, named to Best Doctors in America multiple times, has received several teaching awards at multiple institutions as well as received the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the Council of Resident Education in OB/GYN National teaching awards.  She is married to Michael D. Shaffer, DO and is the proud mother of 3 children.  She is bilingual in Spanish.

David Moreland, MD, FACOG graduated from LSU School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at LSU Medical Center New Orleans. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an Associate Professor of OB/GYN at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Moreland was appointed Residency Program Director in 2005 and Vice Chairman in 2012.
